How has time changed... years ago if you met a business owner the first thing you would ask was do you have a website?
Now websites are still important but I found people are more interested in Social Media. Personally, I'm happy about this because it shows me that as much as people are interested in your product and services we are learning the importance of building a rapport and getting to know each other.
So I guess the real question is: Are you Social?
So let's have a little fun? here are few questions to determine if you are Social or Anti-Social:
1. You wake up in the morning, do you…
a. Check your favourite social media platform and/or start interacting on social media
b. Check your emails
c. Do anything else social media and emails can wait
2. You just had an amazing experience, do you…
a. You share it on social media
b. Call your best friend/partner/ mum/dad to tell them
c. You keep it or yourself, so you can enjoy that feeling even more
3. You run your own business and have an amazing offer you want to share, do you…
a. Plan a social media strategy to share your offer
b. Prepare an Email and leaflet distribution campaign
c. Call people to tell them
Love it or hate it Social Media has become a must; even the haters are starting to use it.
What's to love? So is Social Media really the ultimate evil or is it that some people with no objectives and no clear plans have decided to abuse an amazing tool that is useful and fun if used properly?
