Why we love websites?
Any excuse is good to have a website… websites are YOUR area, to do and play with it as you want.
Whether you are a big business, or a small company or even if you simply have a hobby it’s always good to have a website to represent you. But why do we want websites?
Websites used to be for the big enterprises for those who had money but nowadays we can all have a website. The real difference is, do we want a good one or one that is obviously homemade. Well, that depends on what image we want to portrait and what are our business belief?
So why have a website? Different people have different reasons here are some we have had over the years:
“my customers asked me for it”
“my competitors have one”
“I want my customers to purchase directly from me and not from other platforms”
“it increases my brand awareness and credibility”
“I want to showcase my work following my branding guidelines”
“I want to have FAQ questions that my customers can easily navigate and save”
“Unique and bespoke design”
“One place where people from all social media platform can find more information about my business”
“I want my own blog posts to keep my website fresh and up-to-date”
“my own marketing tool that I control fully”
When asked that question we usually give our two key answers.
The first is that people use a more formal and professional tone on their website rather than the more friendly one usually used on SOCIAL media platforms.. as we always say the clue is in the name, be SOCIAL. And as much the more informal tone is nice for those platforms when people want information and want to ACT on your promoted message they still prefer the professional tone because it gives them a sense of reliability.
The other decisive factor, which we feel very strongly about, is that you OWN your website, with all its content and data, whereas on social media platforms, you are just a mere guest, they can change, like they often do, their layout and policies and you have no control over it you just have to adapt.
..Professional tone and full control...
So do you have a website? If you do or if you want one, contact us and tell us why you wanted one.
